Based on reader feedback and questions, I’d like to talk about something that many people might be curious to know: When should you ask for a flower essence consultation?

First of all, the best time to ask for help is when you are having an issue with something that you don’t know how to resolve yourself, especially if it’s a problem of long-standing duration. For instance, if you are always just annoyed to pieces (I will use polite language here since this is a user-friendly site for all ages) when someone makes you wait for a long time, there is a flower essence that can help you with that: Impatiens. (Interestingly, this is one flower whose purpose sounds like its name does! Not all of them are like that. . ..)

But that is an essence that belongs to the family of Bach’s original 38 flowers, so you could easily find this at your local health food store. No need to ask a practitioner about that!

But if, for instance, your issue were to be about an unhealed relationship that keeps making you feel bad and disrupts other areas of your life and consciousness, then perhaps this is an area where a private (and completely confidential) consultation would help. Your flower essence practitioner will spend time with you to be clear about what the issue is, how it is affecting the various areas of your life, and how you would rather be experiencing those situations. Then she would make a custom blend of flowers that will help you resolve that issue.

The short answer about when to ask for a consultation is this:

Do ask for a consultation any time you are dealing with an unresolved issue that you have not been able to find relief for from other sources, and for which you cannot find a single flower to address it.

Flower essence practitioners are trained to listen, understand, and prepare a “bouquet” of flowers whose purpose it is to give you the patterns you seek. We are great at “matching” the flowers to your electrical system needs. That is something that we can usually do better than a novice, and it’s why we can help.
